Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. Who we are
Project Eos (“EOS Labs”, “we”) operates the environmental-chemistry platform at eoslabs.app. Data controller: EOS Labs — contact: privacy@eoslabs.app.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — email address, name and authentication identifiers, managed by our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Usage data — the chemistry queries you submit, generated pathways, votes, saved formulas and query history, stored to provide the service.
- Billing data — subscription status and payment method, processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address and request metadata, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
3. How queries are processed
Your scientific queries are processed by large-language-model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq) to generate remediation pathways. Queries sent to these processors contain the chemistry question you typed; do not include personal data in query text. Validated results may be cached (without user identifiers) to serve identical scientific questions faster.
4. Where data lives
Application data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Weaviate Cloud (EU region); the API runs on Railway and the web app on Vercel. Each provider acts as a processor under its own data-processing agreement.
5. Retention & deletion
Account and usage data are kept while your account is active. You can request full deletion at any time by writing to privacy@eoslabs.app; deletion completes within 30 days. An in-app self-service deletion flow is being rolled out.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, export and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: authentication session (Clerk) and security. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes are notified in-app.
